    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday December 25,1960 Henry Schooten. Henry SCHOOTEN, 69, of Osage City, died Saturday at his home. He was born Jan. 21, 1897, at Logan(?), and lived at Osage City nine years. He spent most of his life in Northern Lyon County, was a member of the American Legion and IOOF in Harveyville, and a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Florence Schooten, of the home; a son, Herman of El Dorado; three daughters, Mrs. Lois COATS, of Emporia; Mrs. Loran SHAW of Auburn, and Mrs. Rose VARNER, 1112 Frazier; one brother, Floyd Schooten of Osage City; and two sisters, Mrs. Nora MILLER of Temple, Tex., and Mrs. Pearl TUBBS of Alhambra, Calif. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Harveyville Methodist Church. Burial will be in Wilmington Cemetery. Austin Funeral Home of Eskridge is in charge.
