The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday August 20, 1961 Louis McAfee. Services for Louis L. McAFEE, 88, of 837 Carnahan, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. He died Saturday at his home. He was born Oct. 24, 1872 at Circlesville, Ohio, and lived in Topeka for 43 years. He was employed by the Rock Island Railway for 23 years before retirement in 1938. He was a member of the Shawnee Southern Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frances SCHOENFELD at home, and Mrs. Enda BRIGHT of Lucas, Ohio; a stepdaugher, Mrs. Ben SMITH of 2204 Randolph; a stepson the Rev. George DAVIS of Chickasha, Okla.; a sister, Mrs. Loretta LUCAS of Morristown, Tenn.; a brother, John McAfee of California, and three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
