The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday December 29, 1960 L. Ungeheuer, Rancher, Dies; Rites Pending. Loren Francis UNGEHEUER, 56, Route 8, rancher and stockman, died Wednesday following a long illness. He lived in the Maple Hill community nine years. He was born Oct. 9, 1904, at Centerville, and was former vocational agriculture teacher at Paxico. He operated a hatchery at St. Marys 12 years. He was a graduate of Kansas State University, a charter member of Alpha Gamma Rho social fraternity, a member of Alpha Zeta national scholastic fraternity, a member of the Maple Hill Congregational Community Church, and a clerk on the Maple Hill township board. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lucille Ungeheuer, a daughter, Linda and a son, Terry, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. George Ungeheuer of Centerville and two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Ungeheuer of Centerville. Services will be announced by the Penwell-Gable Funeral Home.
