The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday April 24, 1951 Mrs. Alice Armstrong. Mrs. Alice Coleman ARMSTRONG, 74, of Lecompton, Route 1, died Monday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Armstrong will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Rumsey Funeral Home in Lawrence, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. J.D. WADLEY of Topeka will have charge of services. Mrs. Armstrong is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mae CARR, Emmett, Mrs. Nellie STANWIX and Mrs. Dorothy SPEICHER, both of Lawrence; two sons, Theodore of the home and Osgood of Vinland; three sisters, Mrs. Guy BIXBY and Mrs. Orley SMITH of Lawrence and Mrs. Wilfred DAY of Topeka; two brothers, Fred COLEMAN of Huntington Park, Calif., and Ralph Coleman of Lawrence; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
