The Topeka Daily Capital Friday February 26, 1954 William B. Proper. William B. PROPER, 58, died unexpectedly early Thursday morning at his home, 514 Lime, after a heart attack. He was born April 13, 1895, in Frankton, N.Y., and had lived in Topeka 35 years. He was a bookbinder at the Capper Publications plant for many years and at the time of his death was employed at the state printing plant. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Topeka Bookbinders Union. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Lillian L. ATKINS, Topeka; and Mrs. Florence Irene MOLL, Richmond, Mo.; two sons, Donald Dean PROPER, of the U.S. Air Force and Robert Eugene PROPER of the U.S. Army, and five grandchildren.
