    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday November 13, 1927 Henry Neiswinter Dead. Veteran Santa Fe General Foreman Dead At Age of 67. Henry J. NEISWINTER, age 67, of 1641 Fillmore, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. O.F. MAGNUSON, 1530 Washburn. Mr. Neiswinter was born in Wayne county, Ohio, August 29, 1860, and came to Valley Falls, Kan., at the age of 17 years. May 4, 1887, he came to Topeka and entered the employ of the Santa Fe Railway Co. as a carpenter in the Topeka shops. April 1, 1896, he was made track foreman; June 1, 1902, was promoted to assistant general foreman and on November 1, 1920, was promoted to general foreman. Neiswinter's period of continous service with the Santa Fe was 38 years.He retired April 1, 1925, due to his ill health. He was a member of the Central Park Christian church; the A.O.U.W., and the Security Benefit association. He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. A.V. MESSINGER, Detroit, Mich.; Mrs. O.F. MAGNUSON, Topeka, and Mrs. A.J. HARRIS, Topeka; two sons, I.S. NEISWINTER, Detroit, Mich.; and Marion E. NEISWINTER, Topeka; his mother, Mrs. Susan ENGLISH, Yakima, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Nell ROBINSON, Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Lillie DRUMMOND; Cleveland, O.; one brother, William NEISWINTER, Chicago, Ill., and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery.
