The Topeka Daily Capital Friday July 7, 1939 Samuel A. Vickery. Samuel A. VICKERY, 69, of Wichita, died Thursday in the Santa Fe Hospital. He had been employed by the Santa Fe Railroad Company for thirty-five years, the last sixteen in the car department. he was a member of the Baptist Church and the Eagles Lodge of Wichita. Suriving are his wife, Mrs. Etta R. VICKERY; two daughers, Mrs. Nora A. FRIZELLE, Nevada, Mo., and Mrs. Jewell DIXON, Wichita; one son, Roy L. VICKERY, Wichita; eight grandchildren, one brother, W.S. VICKERY, Tishomingo, Okla. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
