The Topeka Daily Capital Friday July 7, 1939 Lewis N. Elliott. Funeral services for Lewis N. ELLIOTT, 84, who died Thursday morning at his home, 1924 West Tenth Avenue, will be Saturday, afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with interment in the Hoyt, Kan., Cemetery. He was born May 10, 1855, in Gray County, Indiana, came to Kansas as a child with his father, settling in Jackson County, where he lived until 1908, when he moved to Fall River, Kan. In 1923 he came to Topeka and had been a resident here since that time. Surviving are five sons, Harry A. ELLIOTT, of the home; Fesse F. ELLIOTT, Ransom, Kan.; Lawrence E. ELLIOTT and Alfred S. ELLIOTT, both of Salina; and Claude ELLIOTT, of Maplehill; four daughters, Mrs. Will KELLY, Mayetta; Mrs. Harlan CULBREATH, Topeka; Mrs. George BAKER, Kansas City, Mo.; and Miss Velma ELLIOTT, of the home; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
