The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday February 27, 1954 Mrs. George Carey. Mr. and Mrs. Leon F. BAKER Jr., of Topeka were called to Stratford, Conn., because of the death of Mrs. BAKER's mother, Mrs. George W. CAREY, 82, Thursday. Mrs. CAREY was born December 21, 1871, and recently had made frequent visits to Topeka. Other survivors are a son, Morris of Indianapolis, Ind., and four grandchildren, Mrs. Harold M. LOWE, Miami, Fla.; Marjorie C.BAKER, Gulfport, Miss.; David P. BAKER, attending the University of Kansas, and Robert CAREY, Indianapolis, Ind. Funeral will be Monday afternoon at Stratford, Conn.
