Eldon T. MAY, Kansas City, KS, died Friday, January 24, 2003, at the home. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, at the Highland Park Funeral Home. Entombment in Highland Park Mausolium. Friends my call 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest contributions to Kansas City Hopsice, 12006 W. 87th St. Pkwy., Lenexa, KS, 66215. Mr. May was born in Council Bluffs, IA., and lived in Oskaloosa, KS., and Valley Fall, KS., moving to Kansas City, KS., in 1948. He was a certified welder for the Board of Public Utilities for 29 years. He had also worked for KCP&L and Feld Chevrolet. He was a member of Westgate Lodge #438, A.F. & A.M for 49 years. He was an Army veteran of WWII and served 12 years in the Army Reserve. He is survived by his wife, Agnes E. May of the home, a son and daughter-in-law, Rodney & Teresa A. May of Albuquerque, NM, three sisters, Helen Kern of Lawrence, KS, Lola Keller of St. Louis, Mo., and Ellaine Richter of Topeka, Ks., and his "Ray of Sunshine" his granddaughter, Caitlyn E. May, also of Albuquerque.
