The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday February 25, 1954 Charlie F. Shores. Charlie F. SHORES, 77, of Meriden, died at his home Wednesday after an illness of two and one-half years. He was a retired farmer and had been a resident of the Meriden community for 25 years. He is surved by a brother, Virgil SHORES of California; a sister, Mrs. L.E. DOYLE of Whitehall, Ill. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Meriden United BRethren Church with burial in Meriden Cemetery.
