The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday November 28, 1957 Albert Yenkey, Sr. Albert YENKEY, Sr., 78, of Route 1, Topeka, died Wednesday in a Topeka hospital. He was born September 13, 1879, in Meyersdale, Pa. and came to Kanas with his parents when he was a child. He had lived on a farm on Route 1, 41 years. He was a past master of the Wakarusa Masonic Lodge and a past patron of the Clarice Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elsie Yenkey of the home; two sons, Charles N. Yenkey of the home; and Albert Yenkey, Jr., Topeka; two sisters, Miss Minnie Yenkey, Fresno, Calif. and Miss Gertrude Yenkey, Grantville; an uncle, Jonas GARY, Scullton, Pa., and two grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. friday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with burial in Bethel Cemetery.
