The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday November 26, 1957 Mrs. Mary C. Coxen. Mrs. Mary C. COXEN, 84, of 222 Topeka, died Monday in a Topeka hospital. She was born November 24, 1873, in Houston, Mo., and moved to Carbondale in 1900. She moved to Topeka from Lyndon in 1950. Her husband, A.P. Coxen died three years ago. She is survived by five sons, Ernest Coxen, Mabton, Wash.; Otis Coxen, Kansas City, Kan.; Calvin Coxen, Denver; Manuel Coxen, Osage City; and Hugh Coxen, Topeka; four daguhters, Mrs. Erma Behrens, Mrs. Inez HIPSHER, Mrs. Ruby CARNES and Mrs. Elsie LINDBERG, all of Topeka; 26 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; two brothes, Arno JOHNSON, Jerome, Idaho; and Pelia JOHNSON, Parkville, Mo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Eliza JONES, Pocahontas, Ark., and Mrs. Alta LAWSON, Salem, Ore. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Parker Mortuary with burial in Carbondale Cemetery.
