The Topeka Daily Capital Friday December 3, 1965 Charles E. Price Dies Here at 48. Charles E. PRICE, 48, 2501 Duncan Drive, died Thursday afternoon in a local hospital following a long illness. Born Feb. 26, 1917, in Glen Elder, he had been a resident of Topeka for about 20 years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Local 307 of the United Metal Workers of America and was employed by Goodyear. Survivors include his wife, Mary R. Price, of the home; a son, Karl D. Price, Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Karen BULGER, 1021 Strait; a brother Donald Price, 1317 N. Van Buren; his mother, Mrs. Burt Billings, 1317 N. Van Buren; and five grandchildren. Services will be announced by Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.
