The Topeka Daily Capital Monday January 3, 1966 Susie Vaughan Is Dead at 91. Mrs. Susie P. VAUGHAN, 91; 424 Clay, died Sunday at a Topeka hospital. She was born Nov. 12, 1874, at Fall River in Greenwood County and had lived in Topeka 85 years. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church. Her husband, Joseph Tom Vaughan, died in 1938. A son, Leo. F. Vaughn, died in 1959. Survivors are two sosn, Alvin W. Vaughan, Riverside, Calif., and Archie C. Vaughan, 538 N. Chandler; a daughter, Edith M. Vaughan, at home; and a brother, John RIDGEWAY, Tonkawa, Okla. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Vaughan will lie in state at Parker Mortuary until time of services.
