    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday December 2, 1965 Jennie Franks. Services for Mrs. Jennie G. FRANKS, 79, 1228 Fillmore, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. She died Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.E. McCONKEY, 4618 W. 10th, after a long illness. She was born April 29, 1886, near Madison, and had been a resident of Topeka for about five years. After her husband, J.E. Franks, died in 1960, Mrs. Franks operated the Leaman-Franks Locker Plant, Moran. She was a member of the Rochester Heights Church of the Brethren, Topeka, and of the Topeka Business and Professional Women's Club. Besides her daughter, survivors include a granddaughter, Mrs. Jerry M. McConkey, Spring Lake, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret MILNER, Eureka; and four great-grandchildren. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Franks may be made to the Rochester Heights Church of the Brethren.
