The Topeka Daily Capital Monday January 3, 1965 Louis A. Weigand Dies Here at 63. Louis A. WEIGAND, 63, died Sunday at his home, 608 Buchanan, after a long illness. He was born August 28, 1902 at Glencoe, Okla., and had lived in Topeka 12 years. Earlier he lived in Burlington. He worked for the America Linen Company in Topeka before he retired. Earlier he worked 35 years at the Seymour Foods plant at Burlington. He was married to Mary HATCHER, Dec. 12, 1928, T Toronto in Woodson County. Besides his wife, survivors include two daughers, Mrs. Richard LUTZ, 2237 Moringside Road, and Mrs. Pat WAGNER, Burlington; his mother, Mrs. Nora Weigland, Burlington; two brothers, Ned Weigand, Burlington, and Allie Weigand, Wichita; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas DONAHUE, 3316 W. 20th, Mrs. Harold ASHLEY, Sinclair, Wyo., and Mrs. Otis DOTY, Mesa, Ariz. Jones Funeral Home at Burlington is in charge of arrangements.
