The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday December 5, 1965 Effie Smith. Burlingame.--Mrs. Effie May SMITH, 79, died Saturday at her home here. She was born May 28, 1886 at Burlingame and spent most of her life in the Burlingame community. She was a member of the Baptist Church. She was married to David Smith, Dec. 27, 1903. He died in 1950. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Hazel WILSON, Huntington, W.Va., and Mrs. Maizie LUNDGREN, Lawrence; a son, Roland Smith, Burlingame; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Carey Funeral Home at Burlingame. Burial will be in Burlingame Cemetery.
