The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday December 4, 1965 Fred Dobbins Dies; Final Rites Sunday. Valley Falls.---Fred E. DOBBINS, 80, died Friday at a hotel here where he had lived the past three years. He was born Nov. 3, 1885 at Pleasant Hill, Mo., where he was a member of the Christian Church. He worked for Rock Island and Missouri Pacific Railroads before he retired. Survivors include two sons, Jesse Dobbins, Valley Falls, and Harry E. Dobbins, Independence, Mo.; a daughter Mrs. Ethel THOMAS, Bell, Calif.; two brothers, Walter Dobbins, Hines, Ill., and Harry Dobbins, Indianapolis, Ind.; two sisters, Mrs. Virgil HUFFMAN, Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Mrs. Minne NICLOFF, Gravois, Mo.; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hagge Funeral Home at Valley Falls and at 2 p.m. Monday at Stanley Funera Home at Pleasant Hill, Mo. Burial will be at Pleasant Hill, Mo.
