The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday May 19, 1920 Mrs. Eugene Burnett Dies. She Formerly Was Miss Beulah Perkins, a Topeka Teacher. Word has been recieved of the death yesterday in Kansas City of Mrs. Eugene J. BURNETT, formerly Miss Beulah PERKINS, of Topeka. The cause of her death was pneumonia. Altho she had made her home in Kansas City since her marriage, a number of years ago, Mrs. Burnett was well known in Topeka. She was a graduate of the Topeka high school, and a number of years taught in Valley Falls also. She is survived by her husband and little daughter, Margaret May, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Perkins, of Topeka, and a sister, Mrs. Paul WHARTON of Kansas City. The funeral will be held in Kansas City, and burial will be Thursday in Valley Falls.
