Valley Falls.--Harold Milton "Buck" MURRAY, 56, Valley Falls, died Saturday in a Winchester hospital where he had been readmitted earlier in the week. He had cancer. He was born Feb. 17, 1912, at Valley Falls, son of George and Hattie Murray, and spent most of his life in the Valley Falls community. He had been a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church at Manhattan. He had been a custodian and deliveryman for Santa Fe Railway the past two years. He was married to Opal FULTHEM, Dec. 17, 1931 at Manhattan. Besides his wife, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Pauline POPE, 419 Leland, Mrs. Ina MILLER, 2109 E. 12th, and Mrs. Rosemary HAMPTON, 1047 Lawrence, all in Topeka; four sons, Harold Murray Jr., Wichita, David Murray, 2721 Filmore Court, Topeka, Joseph Arthur Murray, Leavenworth, and Herbert Allen Murray, Kansas City, Mo.; his twin sister, Mrs. Harriet CECIL, Omaha, Neb.; three other sisters, Mrs. Augusta FORD, Stockton, Calif., Mrs. Frank TOLLIVER, Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Freda PERRY, Portland, Ore.; a brother, Virgil Murray, Los Angeles, Calif.; and 26 grandchildren. Hagge Funeral Home at Valley Falls is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Valley Falls Cemetery.
