The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday March 31, 1968 Mrs. Bessie Klahr Holton.--Mrs. Bessie Butler KLAHR, 79, Netawaka, died here Saturday in a hospital where she had been a patient about six weeks. She was born Sept. 16, 1888, at Whiting and spent most of her life in the Netawaka community. She had been a member of Netawaka Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Modine OXANDALE, Netawaka; two sisters, Mrs. George ETHERIDGE, 303 Mimosa Lane, and Mrs. Perle BRUMFIELD, 3726 Sena Drive, both in Topeka; and two granddaughters. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Mercer Funeral Home, Holton. Burial will be in Netawaka Cemetery.
