    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday December 19, 1960 Claude Hunter Dies At Age 66; Services Set. Claude HUNTER, 66, 616 Leland, died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born June 6, 1894, in Chamois, Mo., and had lived in Topeka since 1926. He was a barber for 33 years and owned and operated the Hunters Barber Shop, 1519 E. 6th, for 20 years. He was a member of the East Side Baptist Church, the American Legion, Capital Post No. 1, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1650. He is survived by his widow, Tracie, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Wilma WILLIAMS, 716 Saline, Mrs. Goldie COOK, Santa Rosa, Calif., and Mrs. Dorothy DROGOTTA, Whittier, Calif.; two sons, Elmer, 2031 Iowa; Duane E., 2626 Colorado; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Louisa CHAMBERLIN and Mrs. Edith PLACIAL, both of Overland, Mo., Mrs. Effie HARRIS, Lamar, Mo., and Mrs. Etta BLACKBURN, Portland, Ore.; and a brother, Charles of Rupert, Idaho. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
