    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Friday March 29, 1968 Stanley Van Verth Dies In Hospital. Axtell.--Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Axtell Methodist Church for Stanley N. Van VERTH, 35, 2008 Clay, who died Thursday in a Topeka hospital. Relatives said he died from pneumonia complications while in a diabetic coma. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Axtell. Mr. Van Verth was born Sept. 7, 1932, in Axtell. He had lived in Topeka about 10 years. He was employed by Crane & Co., and was a former member of Highland Park Methodist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl Van Verth, and Vicky Van Verth, both of 3133 Fremont; a son, William Van Verth, 3313 Freemont; his parents, Mr. and MRs. Ernest Van Verth, Axtell; a sister, Mrs. Marjorie PERRY, Axtell; a brother, Chaplain LeRoy Van Verth, stationed with the Army in Germany. Landreth-Thornberg Funeral Home, Axtell, is in charge.
