The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday December 22, 1960 Martin Toms. Funeral will be at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home at Emporia for Martin TOMS, 69, 834 Monroe, who died here Tuesday. He was born June 3, 1891 at Emporia, and farmed in that community before moving here in 1945. He was employed at the Goodyear Plant and Highway Department Maintenance Shop before retirements. Surviving are four brothers, Abe Toms of Lebo and Ben Toms, Dewey Toms and William J. Toms all of Emporia; three sisters, Mrs. Elmer THOMAS and Mrs. Sue RADIG, both of Emporia, and Mrs. Nellie BROWN of Waverley. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery at Emporia. Wall-Diffenderfer was in charge of local arrangements.
