    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday March 28, 1968 Mrs. Hayward, 90, Valley Falls, Dead. Valley Falls.--Mrs. Margaret "Maggie" Hayward, 90, Valley Falls, died Wednesday in a Winchester hospital where she had been a patient the past two weeks. She had been in poor health for three years. Mrs. Hayward was born Jan. 10, 1878, in Swabville, northwest of Valley Falls in Jefferson County. She attended school in Swabville and was an 1899 graduate of Valley Falls High School. She lived in Swabville until 1933 when she moved to a farm near Valley Falls. She was one of the oldest members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Valley Falls, and a charter member of Swabville Community Club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Helen FLENTIE, Sabetha; a son, George Hayward, Valley Falls, and three grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's Luther Church, Valley Falls. Burial will be in Valley Falls Cemetery. Hagge Funeral Home, Valley Falls, is in charge.
