Service arrangements are pending at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home for Mrs. Marsha Ann RAFFERTY, 29, of 942 Jewell, who died Monday in a Topeka hospital where she had been admitted early Sunday. Dr. Antonio Huaman, deputy district coroner, said Mrs. Rafferty died after taking an overdose of drugs. Topeka police said Mrs. Rafferty had attempted suicide several times previously. Mrs. Rafferty was born Oct. 15, 1938, in Wichita and had spent most of her life in Topeka. She was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Danny Rafferty, at home; her mother, Mrs. Al JOHNSON, Denver, Colo.; and her grandfather, Hira CALKINS, at home.
