The Topeka Daily Capital Friday March 29, 1968 L. Brunkow, 64 Dies At His Home. Services are pending for Lorenz Emil BRUNKOW, 64, 1026 College, who died Thursday in his home of an apparent heart attack. Mr. Brunkow was born July 13, 1903, in Onaga. He had retired in 1958 from Union Pacific Railroad after 34 years service as a section man. He had lived two years in Topeka. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Topeka, and Unioin Pacific Old Timers Club, Marysville. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Corinthia Brunkow, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda DURBIN, Midland, Tex., Mrs. Judy ROLINHAGEN, Westmoreland, and Mrs. Loretta WEGE, Onaga; two sons, Robert O. Brunkow, 2400 Fillmore and Bryon E. Brunkow, Onaga; this mother, Mrs. Ida Brunkow, Onaga; four sisters, Sophia Brunkow, Onaga, Mrs. Viola TESKE, Duluth, Kan., Mrs. Eleanor HORNBOSTEL, Falls City, Neb., and Mrs. Clarice JUDENKOFF, Beatrice, Neb.; two brothers, George Brunkow, Duluth, Kan., and Carl Brunkow, Filer, Idaho; and six grandchildren. Tessendorf Funeral Home, Onaga, is in charge of arrangements.
