The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday March 31, 1968 James E. Harvey. James Edgar HARVEY, 70, died Saturday at his home, 2425 Minnesota. He was born Jan. 18, 1898, in Oklahoma and had lived in Topeka several years. He was a veteran of World War I. He had been a member of the Topeka Lodge NO. 17, AF&AM. He was employed by Santa Fe Railway before he retired and recently had been a maintenance employe at the Methodist Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mabel E. Harvy, at home; two sons, Edgar Harvey, 724 Branner and George Harvey, Los Alamitos, Calif.; a foster son, Charles McENDREE, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Betty McMANNIS, Manhattan, Mrs. Ann SAYLER, La Porte, Tex., and Mrs. Juanita COLEMAN, South Africa; a foster daughter, Marcia HAHLE, at home; four brothers, Charles Harvey, Modesto, Calif., Clayton Harvey and Jesse Harvey, both of Stockton, Calif., and Joe Harvey, Denver, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Olive IRWIN, Wagoner, Okla.; 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
