The Topeka Daily Capital Friday December 23, 1960 Mrs. Holmes Dies at 75; Services Set. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Penwell-Gabel Chapel for Mrs. Helen Bly HOLMES, 75, 600 W. 11th, who died Thursay at her home after a long illness. She was born in Lima, Ohio, May 28, 1885, and lived at San Bernardino, Calif., before moving here 21 years ago. She and her husband celebrated their 54th annivesary this year. Surviving are her widower, Clare Richard Holmes of the home; a son, Paul Richard Holmes, of Newport Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Miss Mabel DUNLAP, Ada, Ohio, and Mrs. Ruth KIRTS, of Kenton, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
