Lattimore said Mrs. Gamba took her own life by jumping off the Topeka Avenue Bridge. She was born Feb. 11, 1920, in Randolph, Neb. Survivors include her husband Jerome Jr., of the home; a son, James L., of the home; two daughters, Diana and Patricia, of the home; five stepduaghers, Mrs. Nick STADLER, 2428 Duncan Drive, Mrs. Jerry ESTES, 1150 Mulvane, both in Topeka; Mrs. Gene POLING, Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Delbert NEWELL, Jr., 2106 California, Mrs. Joseph THOMPSON, 2944 Illinois, both in Topeka; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. A.N. GLASSER, Osage City; two sisters, Alma Glasser, Lawrence, and Mrs. Matt KUHL, Sargent, Neb.; two brothers, Lloyd GLASSER, Colorado Springs, and Howard Glasser, Casper, Wyo. Services willbe at 9 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Osage City. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Rosary will be said Thursday, 7:30 p.m. at McElfresh and Sons Mortuary, Osage.
The Topeka Daily Capital Thursday December 2, 1965 Ella Kilgore Weir. Graveside services for Mrs. Ella Kilgore WEIR, 85, 719 Sherman, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Topeka Cemetery. She died Wednesday morning in her home. Born Oct. 29, 1880, in Burlington, she lived at Ottawa many years before moving to Topeka about 30 years ago. She was a graduate of the Chicago Musical Center. Robert E. Weir, her husband, died in 1960. Mrs. Weir is survived by a daughter, Miss Dove Kilgore, of the home. She will lie after 1 p.m. Thursday in the Davidson-Eslinger-Duff Funeral Home.

FRANKS, 79, 1228 Fillmore, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery. She died Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.E. McCONKEY, 4618 W. 10th, after a long illness. She was born April 29, 1886, near Madison, and had been a resident of Topeka for about five years. After her husband, J.E. Franks, died in 1960, Mrs. Franks operated the Leaman-Franks Locker Plant, Moran. She was a member of the Rochester Heights Church of the Brethren, Topeka, and of the Topeka Business and Professional Women's Club. Besides her daughter, survivors include a granddaughter, Mrs. Jerry M. McConkey, Spring Lake, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Margaret MILNER, Eureka; and four great-grandchildren. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Franks may be made to the Rochester Heights Church of the Brethren.

He was born Dec. 12, 1898, the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Romick, in Maple Hill and lived most of his life on a farm near there. He had been a township trustee since 1957. Survivors are his wife, Katie, of the home; and a sister, Mrs. Margaret J. McCLELLAND, Maple Hill. Services will be announced by Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home.

She was born in Norton, Kan., Dec. 5, 1886, and had been a resident of Topeka for more than 60 years. She was the wife of the late Elmer Durbin, who died in 1963. Survivors are a son, Harold L. REED, 324 Roosevelt; two sister, Mrs. Delia HAMRELL, 1512 W. 10th, and Mrs. Edna JOHNSON, Escondido, Calif., one granddaughter, and two great-grandchildren. Services for Miss Lois Frances WOOLVERTON, 79, 2221 Huntoon, will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home with burial in Holton Cemetery. She died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital. Born, Sept. 16, 1886, on a farm near Holton, Miss Woolverton moved to Holton in 1912. She moved to Topeka in 1942. Miss Woolverton was employed by the Western Unon Telegraph Co., at Holton and Salina and was a member of the Holton Methodist Church. Survivors are two sisters, Miss Florence M. Woolverton, Washington, D.C. and Miss Helen Woolverton of the home.

He was born Dec. 11, 1896, in Mayetta and lived in Circleville and Holton all his life. He was a sales representative for Thatcher School Supply Co. for the past 35 years. Mr. Kidney, a veteran of World War I, was a member of the Eastern Star, Rotary Club, Methodist Church and American Legion in Holton and the Masonic Lodge in Circleville. His wife, Alta, survives him. Services willbe announced by the Mercer Funeral Home, Holton, and burial will be in Holton Cemetery.

He died Thursday in his home. Born in China, July 7, 1900, he came to the United States when he was 16. He lived in Topeka the past 14 years, operating a restuarant before retirement. He was dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital. Born in Kansas City, May 26, 1908, he had lived most of his life in Topeka. He had been employed by the store department of the Santa Fe Railway for 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Henrietta, of the home; a daughter, Norma Jean WILLIAMS, San Diego, Calif.; a grandson; his mother, Mrs. Josie WALTON, 1256 Lincoln; a brother, Woodrow WALTON, Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Marie BOGGS, San Bernardino, Calif., and Mrs. Murna STEMBER, Ozawkie. The Topeka Daily Capital Friday November 5, 1965 Ann M. Hutton Dies at 80; Rites Saturday. Mrs. Ann Miller HUTTON, 80, 2015 E. 10th, died Thursday at her home after a long illness. Born, Feb. 17, 1885, in Carbondale, she lived there all her life until she moved to Topeka, July, 1962. She was the widow of J.E. Hutton, who owned and operated a grocery store in Carbondale for 30 years. He died in 1946. Mrs. Hutton is survived by a son, B.J. Hutton, 630 Medford, and two grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the Carbondale Community Congregational Church. Burial will be ini the Carbondale Cemetery. Mrs. Hutton will lie at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary until 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the church in Carbondale until service time.

Services for Earl Taylor PLATT, 77, 814 High, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, with burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Platt, who died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home while doing yardwork, was born May 31, 1888, at Kansas City, Kan. He had lived in Topeka since 1908. He retired in 1958 after 33 years in the Freight Traffic Dept. of the Santa Fe Railway. He was a member of Central Church of Christ, Topeka, and Reno Lodge, AF&AM, Huchinson. She was born Oct. 10, 1880, in West Devin, Prince Edward Island, Canada. She had been a resident of Topeka most of her life. She was a member of the First Congregational Church. She was housekeeper for many years for the late John S. Dawson, Chief Justice of the Kansas Supreme Court, before she retired in 1960. She was married to Robe E. McVicar, June 10, 1930, in Topeka. Mrs. McVicar is survived by her husband, of the home; one brother, Steven W. ASHTON, South Pasadena, Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Ralph O. PUXTON, Boston, Mass.
