He was born Feb. 28, 1916, at Leavenworth and had lived in Topeka since 1918. He was a member of the West Side Christian Church. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles J. ROUSE, of the home; and a brother, Lyle J. Rouse, Deerfield, Ill. Private services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

STEWART, 59, 2409 W. 1st., who died Wednesday in a Plaquemine, La., hospital of injuries suffered in a traffice accident near Addis, La., two days earlier. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. He was born July 17, 1906 at Stigler, Okla. He lived at Bartlesville, Okla., before moving to Topeka about 12 years ago. He was a pipefitter. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mattie Stewart, of the ome; two sons, Clayton E. The Topeka Daily Capital Friday January 7, 1966 James M. Beeson. James Morris BEESON, 1513 E. 21st., was pronounced dead on arrival at a Topeka hospital Thursday night. He was 55. Cause of death was undetermined, but he had been in ill health for sometime. An autopsy is scheduled for today, a hospital official said. Born at Natoma, Nov. 27, 1910, Mr. Beeson was a drug store clerk at Luray, until he entered the Navy in World War II. A resident of Topeka since 1946, he was a member of Capitol Post No.1, American Leagon, and the Methodist Church. Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Oma HUNTER, 2101 Van Buren, Mrs. Eva DREHER, Salina, and Mrs. Susan DYKEMAN, St. Louis, Mich.; and one brother, Omar Beeson, Stockton, Calif. SMITH, 93, a Topekan 53 years, died Wednesday afternoon at the Methodist HOme, 1135 College, where he had lived the past three years. He was born May 9, 1872 near Havensville, and had lived in Topeka since 1912. Mr. Smith was employed by Santa Fe Railway until 1921, and in later years was manager of the Washburn Municipal Golf Club. He retired in 1943. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and Modern Woodmen of America. His wife, Alice Smith, died in 1941. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Painter, 1503 Washburn, Miss Velma R. Smith, Town House Apartments, Mrs. Vina NELSON, Littleton, Colo., and Mrs. Veronica CLAUNCH, Mission, Kan.; two sons, Harold, 1901 N.Polk, and Herbert Smith, 2027 Lane; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
