Osage City.--Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Lutheran Church here for Victor GUSTAFSON, 82, Wichita, who died Friday at Wichita. He was born July 30, 1883 at Osage City and spent most of his life at Osage City before moving to Wichita six years ago. He was a member of the Lutheran Church at Osage City. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include four daugthers, Mrs. Victor CASPER, Wichita, Mrs. Larry LITTLE, Griffith, Ind., Adelene Gustafson, Wichita, and Agnes Gustafson, 1252 Topeka, Topeka; four brothers, Oscar Gustafson, Elmer Gustafson, and Emil Gustafson, all of Osage City, and Fred Gustafson, 3119 Michigan, Topeka, and five grandchildren. Burial will be in Rapp Cemetery west of Osage City. Downing Mortuary at Wichita is in charge of arrangements.

    3. The Topeka Capital Friday January 21, 1966 Margery J. Barrett. Services for Mrs. Margery Jenkins BARRETT, 83, 812 Lindenwood, will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Penwell-Gabel Chapel with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. She died Thursday morning at a Topeka hospital. She suffered a stroke last Friday. Mrs. Barrett was the widow of former Topeka mayor Herbert G. Barrett. A resident of Topeka most of her life, she was born Aug. 22, 1882 in the Peterton community of Osage County. She attended nurses' training classes, and later was active in the Gray Ladies of the Red Cross. She She and Herbert G. (Tiney) Barrett were married Dec. 11, 1907 and together operated a grocery store at 2nd and Harrison for a number of years. He was mayor from 1935 to 1939. He died in 1949. Mrs. Barrett was a member of Central Congregational Church, Ancient Toltec Rite, Helena Chapter No. 210 of the Order of Eastern Star, and Social Order of the Beauceant. She was an honorary member of the Elks Auxiliary and the Shrine. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.I. COPPING, 713 Randolph, and Ms. Karl ROOT, Greenbrae, Calif.; two grandsons, and a sister, Mrs. Sally ROBERTS, Lyndon. Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Friends of the Zoo or to the donor's favorite charity.

Services for Frank Ward McMILLEN will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Mount Hope Abbey with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. McMillen, 88, 2020 Clay, a former Topeka contractor, died Tuesday night in a Topeka hospital. He had been in failing health since last March, when he was struck and injured by a car at 21st and Lincoln. A resident of Topeka 60 years, he was born April 9, 1877, in Chapin, Iowa. He was a contractor here more than 50 years before his retirement in 1958. His wife, Ollie, died in 1958. Survivors include a brother, Chance C. McMILLEN, 507 Polk, and a sister, Mrs. Eunice DODGE, 1040 Orleans. Mr. McMillen will lie in state until 2:30 p.m. today at Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary.

Mr. Schwartz was employed by Hill Packing Co., and Pepsi Cola Bottling Co., until his retirement. His wife, Florence died in 1945. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. William A. She was a resident of the Methodist Home since August 1964. Mrs. Bradley was a member of the Methodist Church and Royal Neighbors of America, both of Norton. Lyndon.--Mrs. Ruth Maxine LAUE, 45, rural Lyndon died while undergoing heart surgery Tuesday at a Kansas City, Kan., hospital. She was born Sept. 23, 1920 at Vassar and spent most of her life in the Vassar and Lyndon communities. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Vassar and taught Sunday school classes several years at the church. She also was a member of the Woodbine Club at Vassar. She was married to Walter L. Laue, Jan. 30, 1943, at Manhattan. Her daughter, Janet Laue, is a sophomore at the University of Kansas, Lawrence, and a son, John Laue, is a freshman at Kansas State University, Manhattan. Besides her husband, son and daughter, survivors include three other daughters, Elaine Laue, DeAnn Laue, and Nancy Laue, all at home; her father, and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Ira MANGOLD, Santa Cruz, Calif.; four sisters, Mrs. Cleora McNEES and Mrs. Helen KORTH, both of Torrance, Calif., Mrs. Geraldine BUTTERFIELD, Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Betty ROWLANDS, Altadena, Calif.; and a brother, Arlon MANGOLD, Iola.
