Frank NOCK, 84, resident of Wabaunsee County for 77 years, died Friday at the home of his son, Frank NOCK at 117 Louise. he was born April 21, 1867, in Ohio and settled in Wabaunsee County in 1874. Besides his son, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Luck NOCK; a daughter, Mrs. Helen KIMBLE, Eskridge; and two brothers, Robert NOCK, Lowellville, Ohio; and John NOCK, Hubbard, Ohio. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Keene Wesleyan Methoidst Church. Burial will be in Keene Cemetery.

She is survived by four sons, Walter KEHRES, Olpe; Arthur KEHRENS, Wichita; Warren and Francis KEHRENS, of the home; two grandchildren; three brothers, Joe and John SCHEVE, Maydale; Barney SCHEVE, Emporia; and two sistes, Mrs. Rose WIEBERHOLD, Emporia and Mrs. Charles SHIELDS, 429 Chandler, Topeka. The funeral will be Monday morning at the Maydale Catholic Church with burial in Maydale Cemetery.

She was born near Holton and had lived in Jackson County her entire life. She was a member of the Holton Baptist Church and the Eastern Star Chapter at Netawaka. She is survived by her husband, L.C. LEETH of the home; two sons, Herbert LEETH, Mayetta, and Wesley LEETH, Milburn, Kan.; a daughter, Mrs. Gertrude BANKS, Wichita; a brother, Grover Latimer, Rawlins, Wyo.; three sisters, Mrs. Lena GOLDSMITH, Chichasha, Okla.; Mrs. Rebecca GRUVER, Wichita, and Mrs. Minerva ODEN, Holton. The funeral will be at the Netawaka Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Netawaka Cemetery.

"Derry" DIRICKSON, 60, former Topeka pharmacist, died Thursday in portsmouth, Va., according to word received by his sister-in-law, Mrs. Mildred BAYLESS, 814 West Eighth. Mr. DIRICKSON, a registered pharmacist many years, formerly was associated with the McFarland drug stores in Topeka. His wife is the former Lois Evelyn KING, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. L.C. KING. He moved to Virginia six years ago. Funeral services and burial will be in Portsmouth.

The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday February 2, 1952 P.J. Clevenger, 99, Dies; Noted Banker. P.J. CLEVENGER, 99, former vice-president of the Central National Bank and widely known in Topeka banking circles, died Friday morning at his home, 303 West Tenth, after an illness of three days. He would have been 100 years old on June 26. Mr. CLEVENGER was born in 1852 at Cream Ridge, N.J. He moved to Champaign, Ill., when he was 17 years old and in 1882, he came to Kansas. In addition to his banking activites, he was interested in farming. He had extensive land holdings at one time. He moved to Topeka in 1902 and in 1906 he retired at vice-president of the Central National Bank. He continued as a member of the board of directors until 1936, when his son, the late R.C. CLEVNGER, became president of the National Bank of Topeka. His son died in July, 1937. Grandson Heads Bank. Mr. CLEVENGER was a director of the National Bank of Topeka at the time of his death. His grandson, R. Charles CLEVENGER, is president of the bank. He became a member of the Masonic Lodge in 1880 in Howard, Ill., and was a former commander of teh Commandery at Horton, Kan. He was a 33rd degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was elected knight commander of the Court of Honor in 1919. He transferred his Blue Lodge membership to Topeka Lodge No. 17 after moving to Topeka. He was a charter member of the Topeka Country Club and a member of the First Methodist Church. Survivors Listed. He was married September 15, 1875, in Chicago to Miss Sarah Belle SCHREI, who died January 20, 1930. He is survived by a son, F.S. CLEVENGER, Long Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Mrs. Robert FULLERTON, Topeka; six grandchildren, Mrs. Francis C. GREEN, Urbana, Ill.; Mrs. Charles FREDERICK, Carmel, Calif.; R. Charles CLEVENGER, Topeka; Robert C. FULLERTON, Spokane, Wash.; Wallace FOOTE, Evanston, Ill.; and Paul FULLERTON, Glendale, Calif., and nine great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at 12:30 p.m., Saturday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary. Dr. Eugene Frank, pastor of the First Methodist Church, and the Scottish bodies will conduct the services. Pallbearers will be Charles O. BLEVANS, Herbert C. BINGER, John E. KIRK, J.A. BENSON, Harry SCHAFER, J.M. BRIER Jr., M.F. COSGROVE and Charles H. MARTIN. Burial will be in the family lot in Urbana, Ill.
The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 2, 1952 Shubeal C. Kersey. Shubeal C. KERSEY, 87, early-day telegrapher, died at the family home, 1262 Western, Tueaday morning following a short illness. He was born at High Point, N.C., February 2, 1864, and came to Kansas with his family at an early age, settling south of Eudora. He attended the University of Kansas and was a member of the Central Congregational Church and Masonic Lodge 225, A.F.& A.M., and of Scottish Rite. His wife, Mrs. Fannie R. KERSEY, died February 20, 1948. He worked as a telegrapher on the Santa Fe Railroad, part of the time in the general offices in Topeka. He entered the real estate and insurance business in Topeka about 1912. Survivors include his daughter, Mrs. Richard H. GARDNER, of the home; a cousin, Mrs. E.E. TRUEBLOOD, 1645 Webster, and serveral nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with burial in Topeka Cemetery. The family requests no flowers be sent.

She lived in Topeka for about 15 years. While in Topeka, she attended the West Side Christian Church. Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Lucille NEIDER, 936 Hedgewood. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Central Church in Williamsburg. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He was born Mary 18, 1901, at Rossville, Kan., and had been a resident of Topeka since 1929. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad in the machine shope for the past ten years. During World War II, he served in an artillery unit. Survivors include his father, C.E. JAMES, Rossville; and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel SOMERS, 1724 Central Park, and Mrs. Vina McCORD, Rossville.

He was born in Leavenworth and was reared there. He was employed in the bookbinding department of the state printing office for a number of years. SHAW; three daughters, Mrs. Dessa STUBBINGS, 1831 Lane, Mrs. Julia DUNNING, 422 West Seventh, and Mrs. Francis CAIN, Kansas City; a son, Roland SHAW, Chicago; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 2, 1952 Albert Steinmetz. Albert R. STEINMETZ, 79, of Valley Falls died at a Topeka hospital Monday following an illness. He was born April 3, 1872, at Potter and had farmed all his life in the Valley Falls area. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Lila STEINMETZ, of Kansas City, and Mrs. John KELLER of Valley Falls. Also surviving are two sons, Albert and Virgil STEINMETZ of Valley Falls, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Valley Falls Christian Church. Burial will be in the Valley Falls Cemetery.
The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday January 2, 1952 Topekan Is Burned To Death in Room. A man identified as Richard FARRIS was found dead of burns and suffocation in his room at 424 East Fifth about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. Farris, who was about 55 years old, was found when other residents of the rooming house smelled smoke and broke down a door to his room. He was lying on the floor, partly under the bed. Much of his clothing has been burned off his body. Firemen who answered the alarm said an eletric hot plate in his room was turned off, but the bed hardly had been damaged by the fire. Dr. Donald H. Macrae, Shawnee County coroner, said that Farris died of burns or suffocation or both. He said information obtained by police and firemen indicated that Farris may have fallen against the hot plate, setting his clothes on fire. Farris was said by other occupants of the rooming house to be a World War I pensioner.
