KAMPHAUS, 77, who died at a Kansas City hospital Sunday following a month long illness. He was born Aug. 17, 1883, at Wakefield, and moved to Kansas City in 1947. He retired from the Kansas City park department in 1959. He was a member of St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church at Clay Center. Survivors include his widow, Ruth, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Marie Anderson, 1225 Forest; a son, Richard G., Kansas City, Kan., two sisters, Mrs. Theresa Bryan, Clay Center, Mrs. Annie Zurmely, Wakefield, Kan., and two grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at Auburn, Wash., for Alcid Gennette, 62, of Auburn, a former Kansan, who died Sunday in a Zilliah, Wash., hospital. Born At Aurora in Clound County, Mr. Gennette was barber for a number of years at Cassaday and Strong City. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Sophia Bieier Gennette of the home; a daugher, Mrs. Stan Clark of Auburn, Wash., a son A. G. Services for John SCHWINDT, 64, 2306 Gabler, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Penwell-Gabel Chapel with burial at 2:30 p.m. in Big Creek Cemetery near Burlington. Mr. Schwindt died Monday at his home after a short illness. Born Jan. 18, 1896, in Russia, he came to Kansas City in 1912 and lived in Coffey County before moving to Topeka in 1942. He was born March 10, 1880, in Topeka, and was a member of Assumption Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary C. Sipes of the home; two daughters, Miss Rose Sipes of the home and Mrs. Leola Nicholson, 1623 Sage; three sons, Richard E. Sipes, 2026 Hudson; Lee Sipes, 120 Quincy, and Thomas A. Sipes, Norwalk, Calif., and six grandchildren. Services wil be at 9 a.m. Thursday at Assumption Church with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Parker Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Frank DOEL, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Davidson-Eslinger-Duff Chapel with burial in Prairie Home Cemetery. Mr. Doel, 86, of Route 5, died Monday in a Topeka Hospital. Born Dec. 15, 1873, near Silver Lake, Mr. Doel was a resident of the Topeka community for 50 years. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include a son, Earl Doel, and a grandson, both of Route 5; a brother, Ray Doel of Meriden, and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Sullivan of Denver and Mrs. Dessie Martin of Ordway, Colo.
The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday November 1, 1960 Mrs. Cone, 67, Dies; Services Will Be Today. Services will be at 11 a.m. today for Mrs. Harold CONE, 67, 1620 W. 15th, at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary. She died Friday at Branson, Mo., while en-route to her home after a trip through the South with her brother, E.R. Johnson of Mill Valley, Calif. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Greenwood Cemetery at Eureka. The body will lie in state at the mortuary until 10 a.m. today. The daughter of pioneers from Illinois, Mrs. Cone was born May 6, 1893, at Fredonia. She was graduated at Eureka High School in 1910 and at Washburn College in 1914. While at Washburn, she was a member of Beta (now Alpha Phi) social sorority. She attended Harvard University summer school in 1915 and then taught two years at Eureka High School. Mr. and Mrs. Cone lived in Seattle, Wash., until 1921. They then lived in Eureka, until moving to Topeka in 1937. Mrs. Cone was a member of Central Congregational Church and the board of trustees of the Shawnee County Historical Society, editor of the historical society's Bulletin, state chairman of the public relations committee of the Daughters of American Colonists, a past regent of the Topeka Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, former vice-president of the Woman's Club, a charter member of the FI Chapter of PEO and former president fo the Junior Louvre Art Club, Nautilus Club and Colony No. 106 of the National Society of New England Women. She was a life member of Kansas State Historial Society. She was also a memer of the Women's Knife and Fork Club, Huguenot Society of Kansas, Washburn Alumni Assn. and Alpha Phi Alumnae Chapter of Topeka. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Paul L. Lentz, and two grandsons, all of Greenbelt, Md.; and her brother, R.E. Johnson. The family suggests any contributions in memory of Mrs. Cone be made to a memorial fund established for her at the Shawnee County Historical Society.

Mrs. Anderson and her husband, Ralph D. Anderson, who survives her, lived in Pratt for many years before moving to Missouri about a year ago. Besides her widower, survivors include three daughters, Mrs. John R. Keithly, 2102 Potomac Drive; Mrs. H.C. King of Waynesville, Mo.; and Mrs. Clifford Phillips of Springfield, Mo.; a son, Ralph Anderson, Jr., of Waynesville, Mo.; eight grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Ira Stuart of Trenton, Mo.; Mrs. Brose Estes of McAlester, Okla., and Mrs. J.R. Steed of Tulsa, Okla.
The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 1, 1961 Mrs. Ernest Lindbloom. Mrs. Lillian D. LINDBLOOM, 54, of Osage City, died Tuesday in a Topeka hospital after a long illness. She was born Jan. 24, 1907, in Osage City and lived in that community all of her life. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Osage City. Survivors include her widower, Ernest Lindbloom, of the home; two sons, Robert and Glen Lindbloom, both of Osage City; one daughter, Mrs. Joan Miller, 2419 Harrison and eight grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m Thursday at the Osage City Methodist Church with burial in Rapp Cemetery near Osage City. The body will lie in state from 12:45 p.m. until service time at the church.
The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 1, 1961 Frank V. Conrad. Masonic services for a former Topekan, Frank V. CONRAD, 43, of Kansas City, will be at 4 p.m. today in the D.W. Newcomer's Sons Chapel at Brush Creek and Paseo in Kansas City. Born July 17, 1917, in Topeka, he was a graduate of Topeka High School and attended Washburn University and the University of Kansas before he entered the armed forces. Mr. Conrad was an instructor of pilots, served in the U.S. Air Force in England and held the rank of major at the time he was separated from the armed forces in May 1946. He moved to Kansas City, four years ago where he was employed at Sears, Roebuck and Company's Plaza store. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian Church in Topeka and later in Kansas City. He also belonged to the Masonic Lodge, American Legion, Elks, and formerly the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ione Conrad, a son, David Conrad, and two daughters, Betsy and Nancy, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Roy Dewey, 3314 N. Central; his father, E.C. Conrad, 1824 Fairlawn, and several uncles, aunts, and cousins. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery at Kansas City.

He was born Nov. 4, 1884, near Weeping Water, Neb., and farmed in Dover for the last 40 years. Survivors include three brothers, E.V. Wilcox, 1125 Wayne; Guy Wilcox of Blue Rapids and A.L. Wilcox of St. Helena, Calif., and serveral nieces and nephews. Davidson-Eslinger-Duff Funeral Home will announce arrangements.

She died Thursday after a short illness. Born Oct. 12, 1870, in Illinois City, Ill., Mrs. Close came to Topeka in 1910, from Howard. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Howard. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ferris Akey, 911 Munson; one brother, Elbert McGreer of Illinois City; one grandson and two great-drandaughters.

She was born Nov. 4, 1893, on a farm near Overbrook, and lived in Topeka for the last six years. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Flourine Adamson, of the home; Mrs. Leah Eichman of St. Marys, and Mrs. Eula Tarr of Fort Worth, Tex.; three sons, Russell Israel, 2004 N. Polk; Charles Israel of Fort Worth and Dean Israel of Osage City; 14 grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Pearl O'Bryhim of Overbrook. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Overbrook Methodist Church with burial in the Overbrook Cemetery. Baker Funeral Home of Overbrook is in charge.

He was a member of Congregation Beth Sholom and the Topeka branch of B'nai B'rith, and a charter member of the Topeka War Dads. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Anna KROSS of the home; a son, Sid Kross of Mission; a daughter, Mrs. Nathan Persky of Independence, and four grandchildren. He was born Jan. 17, 1882, in New Albany, Ind., and came to Topeka in 1907. He was a clerk in the Freight Auditing Dept. of the Santa Fe Railway offices for 51 years. Mr. Moore was a member of the Holy Name Church and Brotherhood of Railway Clerks. His wife, Mrs. Florence Moore, died Mary 11, 1960. Survivors include one son, Edward K. Moore of the home; four daughters, Mrs. mary McNaughton of Mascoutah, Ill., Miss Helen Moore of Houston, Tex., Mrs. Patricia Day, 1303 W. 19th, and Mrs. Gene Killinger, 2537 Hillcrest, and eight grandchildren. Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Agnes Rezac, 90, of St. Marys will be at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Immaculate Conception Church at St. Marys with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery there. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. today in the Verschelden Funeral Home at St. Marys. Mrs. Rezac died Monday evening at her home after a long illness. She was born Sept. 30, 1870, in Essen, Germany. She came to St. Marys with her parents when she was seven years old. Mrs. Rezac was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Royal Neighbors at St. Marys. She and George A. Rezac were married Nov. 25, 1891. Mr. Rezac died May 2, 1928. Survivors include a son, George A. Rezac of St. Marys; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Browne of St. Marys, Mrs. Ann Spangler of Chicago and Mrs. Claire Maloney of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
