MYERS, formerly of 103 North Franklyn. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a graduate of Washburn University. Funeral services and interment were in Seattle.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Harris; a son, Jack Harris, Braman, Okla.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Harris, Wichita; two sisters, Mrs. Floy Pyle, and Mrs. Nina Jantz, both of Wichita; and a brother, Bernard Harris, Topeka.
The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday January 11, 1951 Mrs. Dora Fox Mrs. Dora FOX, long-time resident of Topeka died Wednesday night at 309 Madison. She was born May 26, 1881, in Lawrence County, Ohio, and came to Topeka in 1890 from Cameron, Mo. She was the wife of the late Joe S. Fox. Survivors are a granddaughter, Mrs. George Beavers, Topeka; four grandsons, James and Bernard McAfee of Topeka, Leonard McAfee, Horton, and LeRoy Elliott, Chicago, and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday July 15, 1939 Mrs. Laura M. Smith. Mrs. Laura M. SMITH, 58, 315 Clay Street, died Friday morning in a local hospital. She was born April 15, 1881, at LaGrange, Mo., and had been a resident of Topeka since 1905. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, J.H. Smith of the home; seven children, Mrs. E.F. Schmidt, Colorado Springs, Colo., Ruth Smith of Wichita; Clemens J. Smtih of Leavenworth; Lorene, Edna, Edwin G. and Ralph Smith of Topeka; five sisters, five brothers, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. John's Lutheran Church, with interment in Memorial Park Cemetery. The body will lie in state at Peebler's Funeral Home, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m., Sunday.
The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday July 15, 1939 Mrs. Louisa K. Vawter. Mrs. Louisa K. VAWTER, 88, died Friday at the home of her son, Clarence D. Vawter, at Wakarusa. Besides her son she is survived by one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Brown, Philadelphia, Pa.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 2:20 o'clock at Auburn Methodist Church, with interment in Shawnee Center Cemetery. The body is lying in state at the Lee Funeral Home in Carbondale until Sunday.

Robert Victor WALKER, 57, Route 9, died Friday at his home, one and one half miles south of the Country Club, on the Burlingame Road. He was bron September 4, 1881, in Valley Falls, and had made his home on Route 9 for the past eight years. Surviving are six sisters, Miss Luella Walker of the home; Mrs. May Dunkelburger, Kingfisher, Okla.; Mrs. Elizabeth Lenhart, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Lura McIntosh, Mrs. Maude Konard and Mrs. Verna Waters, all of Denver, Colo.; two brothers, Charles C. Walker of the home, and Thomas W. Walker, Kansas City, Mo. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10 o'clock at Penwell's Funeral Home with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday July 15, 1939 Mrs. Rebecca Magill. Mrs. Rebecca MAGILL, 70, widow of the late Samuel J. Magill, died Friday night at her home, 1188 Mulvane Avenue. She was born August 30, 1868, in Limerick, Ireland, and came to the United States with her parents at the age of eighteen months. She had been a resident of Topeka for the past forty years and as a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Richard Kilbourne, Norris, Tenn.; three sons, W.S. Magill, Fanwood, N.J.; D.W. and L.M. Magill, both of Topeka; three sisters, Mrs. J.H. Booth, Mrs. Grace Perry, and Miss Anna L. Adams, all of Topeka; two brothers, The Rev. M. J. Adams, Mt. Zion, Kan., and J.J. Adams, Chicago, Ill., and eight grandchildren. The body was taken to the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary pending funeral arrangements.
The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday July 15, 1939 Wesley Fisher. Wesley FISHER, 73, retired Santa Fe employe, 802 East Thirteenth Street, died Friday in a local hospital. He was born at Abbeyville, S.C., December 28, 1865, and had been a resident of Topeka for the past twenty-six years. He was an employe of the Santa Fe for twenty-three years, retiring in 1936, and was a member of Brown's Chapel A.M.E. Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie Fisher of the home; one daughter, Miss Lettie Fisher, Philadelphia, Pa.; William and Joe Fisher of Topeka; Ben Fisher, of Manhattan; and Taft Fisher, Pontiac, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Patten, Abbeyville, S.C., and Mrs. Fanne Chappell, Greenville, S.C.; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nelvina; two daughters, Mrs. Orville Hawkins, Mountain Home, Ark., and Mrs. E.W. Renfro, Topeka and six grandchildren. The body was taken to Conwell's Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday July 15, 1939 George Modell, Jayhawk Auditor, Is Dead. George MODELL, 50, auditor for the Hotel Jayhawk, died Friday night in a local hospital, after being overcome with the heat while at work Thursday. This is the first fatal heat prostration in Topeka this summer. Mr. Modell was born December 10, 1888, in Milwaukee, Wis., and had been a resident of Topeka for the past twenty-five years. He was nationally recognized in hotel circles. Of a retiring disposition he was seldom seen "out front." He not only knew the details of the financing of the business, but also was familiar with engineering and catering end of the business. Handicapped with a crippled arm he could go out on the golf course and shoot a game with the above-average golfer and hold his own. He became associated with the Mosbys in the operation of the old National Hotel, and had a prominent part in the supervision of the erection and opening of the Hotel Jayhawk thirteen years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elsie Modell of the home; 700 Park Lane; one daugter, Miss Myrth Modell, also of the home, and one brother, Emil Modell, St. Paul, Minn. Funeral services will be Monday morning at 10 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
The Topeka Daily Capital Friday July 14, 1939 W.W. Kelsey. Word was received by officers of the Topeka Typographical Union Thursday of the death of Monday of W.W. KELSEY, 79, a member of the organization, at the Union Printers Home at Colorado Springs. Mr. Kelsey fell under a moving train in 1913 and both legs were cut off. Since that time he has been a resident of the Union Printers Home. He worked at most of the Topeka print shops rom 1896 until the time of the accident.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cordelia Hooper of the home; two sosn, Burnell Hooper, Long Beach, Calif.,and Floyd Hooper, North Long Beach, Calif., three sisters and one brother. The body was taken to Shellabarger's Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.

She is survived by two sons, Frank FEICHTINGER, Dodson, Mo., and Albert FEICHTINGER, whose address in not known, and one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor SCHULKE, Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 8 o'clock at the Mulvane Chapel of the home, with interment in Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

Mrs. Clement Richardson of the Kansas Vocational school has been called to Meridian, Miss., by the death of her father, the Rev. S.A. RIVERS. The Rev. Mr. Rivers for the past 15 years was a Sunday school missionary and teacher in the Meridian Baptist seminary. He is survived by his widow and three daughters, Mrs. Andrew Washington, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Mamie Welch, Tuskogee institute, and Mrs. Richardson of Topeka.

McGREGOR died at her home, 2037 Van Buren street, at 10:30 o'clock yesterday morning. Her husband is circulating manager at Capper's Weekly. Her husband and son, Donald McGregor, and sister, Mrs. Lillie Vanderbert of Chicago were at her bedside at the time of her death. Funeral services will be at the Central Park Christian Church at 10:30 o'clock this morning. The Rev. David H. Shields will officate. The body will be taken to Chicago for burial.
The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday November 30, 1927 Pioneer Woman Dead. Mrs. George S. Burt Last Survivor Of Colony Coming in 1857. Mrs. George S. BURT, aged 83, the last surviving member of the Beecher, Dible and Rifle colony which settled Wabausee in 1857 from New Haven, Conn., and organizer of the Wabaunsee Congregational church, died at her home, 1519 Fillmore street, last night. Mrs. Burt moved here five years ago from Wabaunsee. She is survived by six sons, a sister, Hattie I. Isbe of Kansas City, Mo., 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The sons are: Frank I. Burt of Scott City; George S. Burt of Samuels, Idaho; Henry F. Burt of Providence, R.I.; Sherman D. Burt of Sacramento, Calif.; Charles L. Burt of Minneapolis, Minn.; and Louis L. Burt of Topeka. The funeral will be at Wabaunsee with the time of services to be announced later. the body will lie in state at the Penwell mortuary preceding the services.

O'NEILL, 75, pioneer livestock trader and shipper, died at his home in Winchester Sunday. He is survived by his wife, six children, eight grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. Funeral services will be in Winchester at 2 o'clock this afternoon.
The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday November 29, 1927 Fall Is Fatal To Boy. Paul McQuiston Dies From Injuries Received Saturday. Paul Alexander McQUISTON, 10-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank H. McQuiston of Berryton, died in Christ's hospital yesterday morning from internal injuries received in a fall from a tree Saturday morning. The boy had climbed the tree after a squirrel and lost his hold and fell about 20 feet to the ground. He was taken to the hospital Sunday. Besides his parents, he is survived by two younger sisters. Funeral services will be at Penwell's chapel at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in Linn Creek cemetery.
The Topeka Daily Capital Monday November 28, 1927 Former Topekan Dies. Mrs. Lillian Hamilton REED, wife of George W. Reed, Jr., died in a hospital in Vancouver, B.C., Saturday, according to word received in Topeka. Mrs. Reed was a former resident of Topeka but had made her home in Boise, Isa., in late years. Later she moved to Vancouver. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
