    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Wednesday March 26, 1958 Joseph Taggart. Joseph TAGGART, 83, of 1262 Boswell, died Monday night in a Topeka hospital. He was born November 1, 1874, at Wooster, Ohio, and had lived in Topeka since 1900. He was cashier in the Santa Fe treasurer's office when he retired in 1945 after 45 years of service with the company. He was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ethel Taggart, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Josephine Overpeck of the home and Mrs. Doris Lentz, Seneca; four sons, William R. Taggart, Rossville; Robert C., Dr. Floyd C. and Glenn V. Taggart, all of Topeka; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and two sistes, Mrs. Frank METZGER, Ozawkie, and Mrs. Norman O. West, Cuyanhoga Falls, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Mount Hope Cemetery. The Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Fred ANSTAETT, 89, long-time resident of Osage County, died Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Maude Low, 235 Harrison. A resident of Osage County since 1895, Mr. Anstaett formerly was associated with the Farmers Shipping Association at Lyndon and operated an elevator at Osage City. He also lived on a farm several years. He and Mrs. Anstaett moved to Topeka last July to make their home with their daughter. Besides his daughter, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary L. Anstaett, of 235 Harrison; a son, Earl J. Anstaett, of Lyndon; four other daughters, Miss Ethel L. Anstaett, of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Ned Doud of Lyndon; Mrs. E.E. Baker of Osage City, and Mrs. George D. Rogers, of Topeka; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the McElfresh Funeral Home in Osage City with burial in Lyndon Cemetery.

Mr. Eggenberger was a former interpreter for the Swiss Federal Railroad Co. He had visited the United States twice in the past 15 years. TRAPP, 42, of San Mateo, Calif., former Topekan who died January 26 at Bad Neuheim, Germany, will be brought to Topeka for burial. Major Trapp was a former Kansas National Guard officer and was called into service in December, 1940. At the time of his death he was deputy commander of the 38th Transport Truck Battalion in Germany. He was born December 8, 1909, in Salina, and was a former employee of the auditor of freight accounts office of the Santa Fe Railroad Co. in Topeka. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary E. Trapp; two children, Raymond Trapp Jr., 19, and John Trapp, 8; his mother, Mrs. Annie E. Trapp, Phoenix, Ariz.; a brother, Leo O. Trapp, and a sister, mrs. Marguerite V. Kendrick, both of Topeka.

    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday February 4, 1952 Edward H. Blangeres. Edward H. BLANGERES, 86, retired rural mail carrier, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. D. Montgomery, Route 8. Mr. Blangeres was born April 14, 1865, in Jacksonville, Ill., and came to Topeka in 1889. He delivered mail on Route 4 for many years. After he retired, he began operating a greenhouse north of Topeka. Dahlias grown in his greenhouse won many prizes. He is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. Carl Lutz and Mrs. Kenneth W. Payne, both of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Arthur Reynolds, Topeka; four sons, Charles and Roy Blangeres, both of Spokane, Wash., Fred Blangeres, Coeur d' Alene, Idaho, and Clement Blangeres, Salina; and 13 grandchildren. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery. Further arrangements hae not been completed.

Louis CARLOT, 34, died Sunday in a Kansas City hospital from injuries received Friday in a three-car accident on US-10 near DeSoto. Carlot, a former Topekan, had lived in Kansas City recently while working at the Sunflower Ordnance Plant. Four other persons were injured in the accident, none severly. Carlot was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion at Devil's Lake, N.D. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred Carlot, Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Anita and a son, Ronald of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carlot, Burlingame; a sister, Mrs. Louise Sherry, Burlingame; a brother, Dale Carlot, Topeka; and a grandmother, Mrs. Effie McComb, Dover. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. J.C. Simpson, Mrs. E.C. Wilson and Mrs. William McGuire, all of Topeka, and Mrs. Max Matwigof, of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Frank and Robert Ready, both of Topeka; two sisters, Mrs. L.S. Grantz, of Hunter, Okla., and Mrs. J. Gross, of McLouth; nineteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body will arrive in Topeka Sunday night and will be taken to the Peebler Funeral Home. Burial will be in Valley Falls Cemetery.
