SMITH of Kansas City, Kan.; Kenneth G. SMITH of Kansas City and Terrance D. SMITH of Lackland Air Force Base, Tex.; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia TURNER of Springfield, Ohio; Mrs. Sharon IVERSON of Kansas City, Kan.; Mrs. Betty F. WARD, 2201 Western, and Mrs. Dorothy HOLT, 1414 Western; four sisters, Mrs. May ROBBINS of Chicago, Mrs. Ordea B. GRAVES of Los Angeles; Mrs. Glady HENRY and Mrs. Marjorie GARDNER, 1803 VanBuren; 11 grandchildren; and one brother, Isaac F. SMITH of Akron, Ohio. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bowser's Chapel. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery in Kansas City, Kan.

WRAY, 80, 2811 Cunningham, who died Thursday at his home. He was born in Taylor County, Aug. 6, 1880, and lived in this community since 1900. He was a former employe of the Union Pacific Railroad in Topeka and Kansas City. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Fireman and Oilers and the Seaman Community Church. Surviving are two sons, Phillip G. WRAY of Phoenix, Ariz., and Orville WRAY of Guam; two daughters, Mrs. Leona RICHARDSON of the home, and Mrs. Freda WHITEBREAD, 1016 W. 4th; 31 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, C.W. WRAY of Pecos, Texas, and C.D. WRAY, 1516 Kansas. Burial will be in Rochester Cemetery.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lyndon Methodist Chruch for Mrs. Milt ROGERS, 87, of Lyndon, who died Wednesday in Kansas City. She was born Aug. 11, 1873, in Ottawa and was a member of the Lyndon community 67 years. She was a member of the Methodist Church of Lyndon. For 60 years she was a member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Charles BELLER, of Kansas City, and Mrs. A.F. HOTCHKISS of Burlingame; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body will lie in state at the Shaffer Mortuary of Lyndon from noon today until 10 p.m.

He was retired from the U.S. Army in 1932 after 30 years of service, much of which was spent in the Philippines. He is survived by his widow, violet B., of the home; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Margaret L. SILVERSMITH, 830 N. Jackson, Mrs. Hazel OWENS, Perry; two stepsons, Lewis A. He lived here more than 60 years and retired from the Santa Fe Railway in 1948. Joseph GARDNER, 55, boiler fireman at the Forbes Air Force Base, died unexpectedly Friday morning in his boiler room at the base from a heart attack. He was born February 3, 1896, in Richland and was a lifelong resident of that community. He engaged in farming until nine years ago when he became a fireman at the air base. He was a member of the Richland Evagnelical-United Brethren Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Katherine Gardner of the home; a son, Francis Gardner of the home; and a sister, Mrs. Walter Tevis, Route 8. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Richland Evangelical-United Brethren Church, with burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Randall, in Osage City. Born in England, she came to Kansas with her parents in 1870. She made her home in Junction City and Wakefield before moving to Clay Center. She taught school in the Clay County rural school and in Clay Center for a number of years. For more than 36 years, she was a teacher for the Menninger Bible Classes. She and Mrs. Menninger were girlhood chums. She is survived by two sons, Wayne P. Randall, president of the Citizens State Bank of Osage City, and G.W. Randall, Eureka Springs, Ark. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Baptist Church in Clay Center.

McCLAIN, Los Angeles. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary, with Parker's Mortuary in charge. Burial will be in Oneida, Kan.

    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Saturday November 10, 1951 Rent Control Official Dies of Heart Attack. Don Ward SEALE, 42, field representative of the Office of Rent Stablization, died unexpectedly Friday morning after suffering a fatal heart attack at his hotel. He arrived from Chicago Wednesday to assist in setting up a federal rent control office in Topeka. He had complained of not feeling well Thursday night. He had been associated with the federal rent control setup for six years, first at Dallas, and later at Denver, where he maintained a home. He was transferred to the regional office at Chicago two weeks ago. Mr. Seale is survived by his wife and two children in Denver. The body will be taken to Denver for funeral services and burial.
