    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday August 30, 1910 Miss Minnie Marie KUEHNE, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Kuehne, of 528 North Topeka avenue, died suddenly Sunday night of heart disease. Although Miss Kuehne has not been feeling well for several days, she was not known to be dangerously ill and her death was a sudden shock to her parents and may friends. SHe was 27 years old. The funeral will be from the home, 3:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Interment will be in Topeka cemetery. The Otto Kuehne Vinegar and Preserving works will be closed the afternoon of the funeral. Miss Kuehne was popular and well liked among the North Topeka girls, and in other circles as well. She received her education at the Grant school, Topeka high school and the Dougherty Business College. She was also quite a musician and played the piano for the orchestra of the Kuehne family. Miss Kuehne leaves two brothers, Otto E. Kuehne, Jr., and Fred Kuehne.

    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Tuesday August 30, 1910 The funeral services of the late John B. MARSHALL who died suddenly at his home Sunday night, will be held at the home, 421 Quincy street, Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The body will rest in state at the home Wednesday morning from 9 until 12 o'clock. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. R.K. Pooley. These services will be followed by services at the Auditorium, in charge of the Knights Templar. The Knights and Marshall's Band will escort the remains to the Auditorium. There Judge A.W. Dana will give a short address. Appropriate music by the Modoc clube will then be given. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery and the services at the grave will be in charge of Golden Rule Lodge, No. 90, A.F. & A.M. The pallbearers will be John Sargent, James Guthbert, T.B. Jennings, Andy Manifold, W.S. Bergundahal, Charles Myers, Carl Nellis and William Green.

    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 17, 1939 Hans C. Hansen. Hans C. HANSEN, oldest member of the Masonic Lodge at St. Marys, Kan., died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. W.C. CHILD, 824 Jewell Avenue. He was born December 16, 1859, in Sonderberg, Denmark, came to St. Marys in 1882 where he lived until last May when he came to Topeka to make his home with his daughter. He operated a jewelry store in St. Marys for forty-nine years. Mr. and Mrs. HANSEN celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in September, 1933. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura A. Hansen of the home; two sons, Dr. George R. Hansen, Bristow, Okla., and R.F. Hansen, Lindwood, Calif.; one dauther, Mrs. W.C. CHILD, Topeka; one sister and one brother, living in Denmark. The body was taken to the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary pending funeral arrangements.

He was a charter member of the Highland Park Methodist Church and at the time of his death was a member of the East Side Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Eunice Case of the home; one son, Charles Case, Topeka; one daughter, Mrs. Elsie SCRITCHFIELD, also of Topeka; on sister, Mrs. Emma SNOOK, Topeka; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was born December 29, 1880, in Oakville, Ind.; came to Jefferson County, Kansas, with his parents when a small boy, and had been a resident of Topeka for the past thirty-four years. He had been an employe in the post office as a special clerk for thirty-four years, retiring last February. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Loloa REPLOGLE; one daughter, Frances REPLOGLE, both of the home; two brothers, Fred REPLOGLE, Holton, Orly REPLOGLE, Atlantic, Iowa, and one sister, Mrs. Laura MYERS, Herington, Kan. The body was taken to Peebler's Home pending funeral arrangements. Burial will be in Meriden Cemetery.

    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Monday July 17, 1939 Norman Burrell, 21, Dies From the Burns Received June 28. Norman Louis BURRELL, Jr., 21, died at Christ's Hospital early Sunday morning as the result of burns received June 28. His legs were burned when he was hit by a bucket of flaming gasoline thrown from a filling station. The gasoline, apparently ignited from a steel brush being used on a car, was thrown just as Burrell chanced to pass. Norman was born August 26, 1917, at Milwaukee, Wis., and a year later came to Topeka with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Burrell, who now reside at 2508 Virginia Avenue. He was a graduate of the Highland Park Grade School and High School and had been at Washburn College for two years. He also is survived by two brothers, and two sisters, James, Leonard and Betty Jane of the home, and Mrs. Margret FITZHUGH of Los Angeles, Calif. Funeral Services will be Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock at the Church of the Assumption with burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Brennan Funeral Home from 2 till 10 p.m., Monday.

Miss Blanche STEWART, a school teacher in Topeka grade schools and Topeka High School for many years, died Sunday morning at her home in the Hurley Apartments, Eleventh and Harrison streets. She was born in Peru, Ind., and came to Topeka with her parents when a small child and had been a resident here since. She was a graduate of Columbia and Kansas universities. Miss Stewart had no immediate survivors. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock at Penwell's Funeral Home, with interment in Topeka Cemetery.
