She had been a resident of Topeka for the past two years. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Millard J. Greeley, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. A.W. THEDINGA of St. Joseph, Mo.; and Mrs. Bert STREALY of Topeka; one sister, Mrs. W.R. WIRES, of Aurora, Ill.; three brothers, Sam DOW and W. H. DOW of Villisca, Ia., and Wade DOW of Emporia; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at Penwell's chapel Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. and the body will be taken to St. Joseph for funeral services at the Mierhoffer funeral home Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be made in St. Joseph.

Mrs. Dodson had made her home on a farm in the vicinity of Carbondale more than 30 years. She is survived by six sons, Roy Dodson, Mazia, Tex.; Bert Dodson, Clay Center; Blaine Dodson, Vala, Kan.; Ord Dodson, San Bernardino, Calif.; Charles Dodson, Topeka; and three daughters, Mrs. Audrey TRECHSEL, Indana, Kan.; Mrs. Robert PERRY, Carbondale; and Mrs. GENTRY of Manhattan. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Carbondale Community church. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery.

    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Sunday April 5, 1936 Dies In Kansas City. Randolph B. Adams' Death Follows Brief Illness. Randolph B. ADAMS, 36, manager of the Kansas City Sales Book Co., and son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Adams, of Topeka, died Saturday in St. Lukes hospital in Kansas City, Mo. His death followed an illness of about three weeks aht started with the flu, and developed into serious complications. Adams was born in Topeka, December 12, 1900, and educated in the Topeka schools. After graduating from Topeka high school he attended the University of Kansas. He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. After graduating from the university he went into the ranching business near Las Vegas, N.M. Later he came to Topeka and was connected with the Adams Brothers Manifold Printing Co. He was manager of the Kansas City book company for 13 years, and made his home in Kansas ity at the Woodlea hotel. He has made several European trips, and has visited the Orient. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers, John P. Adams and Edward C. Adams of Topeka and a sister, Mrs. John Donaldson of Pittsburgh, Pa. Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.

    3. Hi George: I have searched through several Kansas newspapers circa 1895 for obituary/death announcements so they do exist! The Kansas State Historical Society has old newspapers on microfilm that are available to many local libraries accross the country through the InterLibraryLoan (ILL) program. She was born May 7, 1873, at Ozawkie, and lived on a farm near McLouth for 50 years before moving to McLouth 15 years ago. Mrs. SHRADER was a member of the Evangelical United Brethren Church at McLouth and the Alcione Chapter No. 266, Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include one son, Roland Shrader of McLouth; three grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the EUB Church in McLouth with burial in the McLouth Cemetery. Bradford Funeral Home at McLouth is in charge. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:30 p.m. unti service time, Saturday.

    2. Seeking descendants of Jonathan Dorr Norton. Reunion this 4th of July weekend. He was born at Harpersfield, Ashtabula county, Ohio, Oct. 22, 1841, a son of Washington Adams and Caroline (Harper) Norton. A 1912 bio taken from Pages 184-186 from volume III, part 1 of Kansas: a cyclopedia of state history, embracing events, institutions, industries, counties, cities, towns, prominent persons, etc. ... states the following about the children of Jonathan Dorr Norton. On Dec. 24, 1863, Colonel Norton was united in marriage to Miss Ada Sheffield, of Napoleon, Ohio. Seven children have been born of their union, five of whom are living. Dr. William Sheffield is a physician at Muscatine, Iowa; Marie is the wife of Dr. H. S. Judd, of Tacoma, Wash.; David Watterson is cashier of the First National Bank of Guymon, Okla.; Jonathan Dorr, Jr., resides at Kansas City, Mo., and Ralph H. is a deputy in his father's office. All five of these children are married. The two deceased children were Ada May, first born, who died when two years of age, and John Harper, fourth born, who died at the age of twenty-nine, leaving a widow and one child. Colonel Norton and wife have nine grandchildren. Both are members of the New Jerusalem or Swedenborgian Church of Topeka.
