Erdman-Oldroyd Mortuary of Arkansas City will be in charge of services and burial for Frederick Albert MEEK, 84, of 1135 College, who died Monday at the Methodist Home. He was born at Fort Scott, March 13, 1877, and was a retired Santa Fe Railway employe. He started work for the company in 1912. Mr. Meek was a member of the First Methodist Church of Arkansas City. he moved into the home here Sept. 1, 1959. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jessie Meek at home; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth McCLAIN of Bethel Park, Pa.; and a brother, Roy Meek of Pearisburg, Va. He was born Sept. 2, 1891, in Nebraska, and lived in Overbrook before moving to Topeka about 20 years ago. Mr. Stewart was employed as a clerk in the Kansas State Employment Service until his retirement. He was a member of the Ridgeway Masonic Lodge No. 62 of Overbrook, Scottish Rite Bodies in Topeka, the Topeka Arab Shrine, Anderson Raible Post of the American Legion at Overbrook and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gertrude B. Stewart, of the home; one step-son, Bob VERMILLION, 1617 W. 26 th; two step-daughters, Mrs. Robert B. ELLIOTT, 1201 Saline, and Mrs. Jean McFARLAN of Kansas City and one brother, William Stewart of Osage City. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home will announce arrangements.

HINCKLE, 74, of 1136 Mulvane, who died in a Topeka hospital Monday after an extended illness. Born May 11, 1886, at Bunker Hill, Ind., he lived in Topeka since 1907. Mr. HINCKLE retired in 1955 as a stationary engineer for the Santa Fe Railway after 36 years service. He was a member of the Quivira Heights Church of Christ. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ada Hinckle at home; a son,. Robert L. Hinckle of Lenexa; two daughters, Mrs. Frank FROST of Richland and Mrs. J.C. FRAZER, 1324 Campbell; two brothes, L. E. Hinckle of Kansas City and D.G. Hinckle, 1134 Plass; four sisters, Mrs. N.M. HEFNER, 1821 Pembroke Lane, Mrs. John LIGGETT, 726 Poplar, MRs. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday for Dr. David DILL, a retired veterinarian of Winchester, at the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Winchester. He was 81. Dr. Dill died Tuesday in a hospital at Winchester. He was born there Aug. 10, 1879, and spent most of his life there. From 1934 to 1938, he worked with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in New Mexico and Arizona. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jessie Dill at home; a son. Lt. Col. Robert Dill of the U.S. Army, stationed at Zwelbrucken, Germany; a daughter, Mrs. James SEDIAK of Winchester; two brothers, John and Charles Dill, both of Winchester; and five grandchildren. The family asks that any contributions in memory of Dr. Dill be made to Heart of Cancer funds. The Hampton Funeral Home of Oskaloosa is in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She lived a few months in Tucson. Before that she had lived a number of years at the Hotel Jayhawk. Her husband, the late George M. Crawford, was business manager of Capper Publications. He was a brother to Mrs. Arthur CAPPER and was a son of Samuel J. Crawford, who was governor of Kansas fomr 1865 to 1868. Surviving is a son, Marshall Crawford of Tucson, former general manager of Capper Printing Co.; a daughter, Mrs. Legier PAXTON of South Pasadena, Calif and three grandchildren. Services will be announced for Lendrum Scott McEarchron, 56, asistant director of the State Department of Social Welfare. He died of a heart attack Monday at his home, 1615 Boswell. He had been assistant director of the Welfare Department since 1949. Prior to that he was director of finance, accounts and audits from the inception of the department in 1937. Born June 1, 1904, in Topeka, he lived here his entire life. His father, Duncan L. McEachron, was vice president and treasurer of Wasburn Univesity. His mother Mrs. Ella Scott McEachron, a member of more than 20 years of the Topeka Board of Education. the McEachron Elementary School was named for her. He served with the Kansas Emergency Relief Commission from February 1934 until August 1937. He was a member of the Central Congregational Church and Kappa Sigma social fraternity. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Alice T. McEarchron at home; a son, Scott McEarchron, 1285 Medford; a daughter, Mrs. Alan LOMAX, of Germany, where her husband is stationed with the Air Force; a sister, mrs. Forbes CALDWELL, 1234 Western; a brother, J.D. McEachron of Haworth, N.J.; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. The Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

He was a member of the Church of the Brethren, American Legion Capitol Post No. 1, Golden Rule Lodge No. 90, AF&AM, Topeka Consistory, Scottish Rite bodies and the Arab Shrine.
