The Fargo Springs News Seward County Thursday July 29, 1886 Last Monday morning, while Dr. FOSTER, who resides a couple of miles east of town, while building a fire with cane stalks, a five inch centipede measured the length of his arm by cavorting up the inside of his shirt sleeve to the shoulder. The Dr. laid a foul hand on the "sardine: and escaped with but a few scratches from a couple of the animal's forty thousand legs. The gentleman's arm and shoulder swelled up slightly but nothing serious is anticipated. we congratulate the Dr. on his escape.
