I have ordered a roll of "The Liberal Leader" microfilmed newspapers from the Kansas State Historical Society in Topeka, covering the time period 4/26/1888 to 1/8/1890. Roll L-2225. This film will take a little over two weeks to reach me. In the meantime, if there are any surnames of interest for folks in this area and you wish me to look for them while I look at the newspapers forward same to me and I will add them to a present list.
