Minnich. We believe the adoption took place in or near Hastings, NE. Myrtle moved with her adoptive family to Scott County, KS and was married twice (Harkness and Crozier), but members of her birth family or their representatives were able to locate and contact her in the 1940's regarding settlement of an estate in SLC, Utah. Myrtle declined to re-establish contact and subsequently disposed of any mementos she may have had of her birth family. She passed away in 1971, having never discussed details of her adoption with her children or grandchildren. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
