Hello all- I have created a new, free website for Saline Co. researchers: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kssalihp/index.html Saline Co. is the newest site in the "Kansas History and Heritage Project." The KHHP is dedicated only to Kansas and her counties, and is still growing--Saline Co. is the 12th county in the project with its own website, but I will continue to add more county websites, all with searchable (and I hope useful) data for researchers. For counties that do not yet have their own sites, I will still collect data and store it on the state site, located here: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~kahhp/index.html , where it can be found by clicking on the "County Archives" link. The new Saline Co. site features plat maps, marriages for 1881 and 1882, over 100 older obituaries, lots of G.A.R. data (it's kinda an obsession of mine!), biographies, 1903 directories and more.
