Surnames: Lewis, Jenkins, O'Connor, Rosenberg Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Xm.2ADE/191 Message Board Post: My great-aunt Sidney Florence Jenkins was living in Rooks County 1900 census as Sidney Florence Lewis b April 1868 in Iowa. In the household was her husband William R. Lewis b. Sept. 1870 in NE, their daughter Susan M. born Feb. 1896 in KS. Also in the household was Mary O'Connor b. Sept. 1888 the daughter of Sidney and her first husband Edward O'Conner. There is a birth record for another daughter Florence born to Sidney and William R. born Jan. 25, 1901 looks like a couple of weeks after William R. died as he is on the death records Rooks co. as dying Jan. 9, 1901. A few months later in June Sidney married a D. Rosenberg. I can find no further record of this family in census. Anyone come across any of them in there research for Rooks County? I have not been able to find what D. Rosenberg's first name might of been. Any help appreciated..
