I don't think it could have been the 1911 copy of whatever book you were looking at, since Solon's daughters were not born until after 1921, I think. But it is something I will check out, so thanks for letting me know. As far as I know my Smiths have no connections with a Rose Smith or James Cyrus, although with a name like Smith you never know! Solon was my great-great uncle, and his parents, my G-G-Grandparents were Charles William Smith and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Ann Williams, who lived most of their lives and died in Kansas. My Smith line has been traced back to either the late 1700's or early 1800's in New Hampshire and went through New York and Wisconsin before Kansas, and then eventually Texas. I don't have my info as I am logged onto a relative's computer since mine has crashed, or I could give you more specific info - names and dates.
