William Henry Baxter was born 12- 10-1830 in Shelbville Indiana. Son Henry Thomas born 3-5-1856, Lillie-McFadden(--- 1892), Willie Grant (1865-19420, Melvin A (1867-1942), Alonzo (1869-1954), Tressie Jane (1874-1941), Joseph (-----1936), Lila and Lou Thompson. Alonzo, Melvin and Jane never married, lived on the old homestead till they died. Henry Thomas (Tom) married Cynthia Caroline Leathers. She died 5 years after they where married.
