I own the Woodston Saw, & Register, newspaper reels of 1889-1903, and the book by Leo E Oliva Woodston The Story of a Kansas County Town,....and what little I've been able to prove from a few census, but still not enough to prove kinship to my William V Wolf, 3rd great grandfather also found in the Woodston area doing buisness at this time. I am especially looking for funeral records or burial records of J.H Wolf in the Woodston Cemetery, and am hoping someone can tell me who to contact for this Woodston Cemetery information if any is even still available today for this time frame. Thanks Joy for all your help, and if you have any further suggestions,...I am all ears ! Thanks again Joy,
I would suggest you contact the Smith-Moore-Overlease Funeral Home in Stockton to see if they can give you any history about funeral homes at the time and if they can tell you who the Woodston Cemetery Sexton is. You might also try the owner of the Smith Monument Company in Stockton for info on the Woodston Cemetery Sexton.
