James is my 1st cousin (4XR). James Arthur Verley b. 1853/WI d. 1943/Belleville, Kansas. He is the son of Nathan Hollister & Martha Jane (McKnight) Verley. James married Lena (Lavisa) Diantha Robertson 22 Feb 1874 in Wisconsin. Lavisa was b. 21 Jul 1855/WI d. Dec 1930/Belleville, Kansas. The had 5 children: Rolla Oscar(1876), Leroy Monroe (1883), George Lewis (Louie)(1885-1918), Ura (1890-1967), Sylvia Ethel (1891-1981). Hope this helps.
